Interior Design Tips – Small Rooms

A few handy tips to prevent small rooms looking crowded.

You have to make the best of small spaces if you live in a town house or flat. That doesn’t mean that if you have a massive house, that you should fill it to the brim though!

Furnish it Right

  • Don’t buy a bed that takes up the whole room.
  • Choose furniture whose size relates to the size of the room. But don’t buy doll house furniture.

Scheme a Colour  Scheme

  • Interiors should be designed with a simple and elegant colour scheme in mind.
  • Choose 3 colours that go together well.
  • 1 colour and 2 neutrals is a good idea.
  • Buy accessories that go with this scheme, Such as cushions and candles.
